History books can take you only so far .... we take you the rest of the way!
How did they......? What happened if......? When did it......? Why did they......?
Find out the answers in the best way possible - from the people who were 'there at the time'! This means better understanding, making the children realise what it would mean to be a citizen of England in the 16th century compared to their own society today.
Our cross-curricular workshops for KS 1 and 2 tick many boxes - history, maths, science, English, design and technology, to name but a few! We encourage creativity using sight and sound, touch and smell, as well as using the little grey cells - thus exploring, evaluating and developing a breadth of knowledge and understanding second to none!
(Morning or Afternoon for up to 35 children)

How different is Christmas today to the way the Tudors celebrated it? How far back do some of our customs go, and why, and when, and for whom?!
Based on the Tudor Life Workshop but with a seasonal twist!
(Morning or afternoon for up to 35 children) This is a great way to reinforce what they have learnt in the Tudor Life Workshop, or it can be a stand-alone fun session when the students learn without realising it!
By playing as Tudor children would have played, they learn was life was like for them by
- taking part in a mummers play
- learning a country dance
- singing some popular Tudor songs
- enjoying some street games
Adapted programmes can be offered
(Morning or afternoon for up to 35 children at KS2)
£65 for bookings made before 1 January 2012
£70 per workshop thereafter
Plus £12 travel costs to any school in Worcestershire - a good price for elsewhere
